That’s the latest innovation from Taco Bell, the fast food folks that gave the world the Naked Chicken Chalupa, featuring a shell made out of chicken meat.
The Irvine-based chain is testing an item called a Tripleupa in 12 Orange County locations. It didn’t say which ones.
The Tripleupa is an 11-inch flatbread shell stuffed with ground beef, shredded cheese and lettuce. The shell is segmented so it can be into three separate Chalupas.
Taco Bell is already featuring a Double Chalupa, available everywhere, that has extra-wide shell instead of an extra-long one. It sells for $3.49.
