Rest Break Compliance

 

Rest Break을 회사의 work schedule상 유리한대로 하는 경우, 문제가 될 소지가 있으므로, 아래와 같이 일반적으로 조심해야 할 내용을 잘 숙지하시기 바랍니다. 특히 얼마나 proactive하게 알려주느냐도 employer로서 좋은 점수를 얻을수 있는 계기가 되므로, 아래와 같이 post하가나 training하는것에도 신경을 써주시면 좋을것 같습니다.

 

그리고 특별히 office사람들은 책상에 앉아서 점심을 먹는다거나 rest break을 갖는것은 바람직 하지 않으므로, 만약에 그런사람이 있다면, discpline을 시켜주는것이 좋습니다. 물론 document를 남기는것도 중요합니다. (e-mail로 보냈다면, print해서 file에 넣어놓으시면 됩니다.)

 

1) Provide rest break for every 4 hours.

2) Rest breaks should be in the middle of each 4 hours of period.

3) Rest breaks must be 10 minutes of uninterrupted time.

4) Restroom breaks do not count as rest breaks.

5) Do not permit employees to combine rest breaks with the meal periods.

6) Employees do not need to clock in or out of rest breaks.

7) Post the rest break policy in break room.

8) Establish employee complaint procedure.

9) Train all employees on rest break compliance.

10) Discipline no-complying employees.
