TERMINAL

The Thomas F. Riley Terminal features natural stone, stainless steel and a glass-enclosed central lobby. Designed to resemble an airplane fuselage, the Terminal provides a similar look and feel from anywhere within a 360-degree vantage point. Vaulted ceilings and large windows overlooking the runway give the departure lounge area a comfortable open feeling. This feeling is also carried in to the wide open Arrival (lower) Level.

Today, all three terminals that make up the Thomas F. Riley Terminal total 730,505 square feet and include a set of ticket counters, security screening checkpoints and a baggage claim area. The Riley Terminal also boasts 20 bridged commercial passenger gates. Two smaller terminals, one at the north end (Gates 1A, 1B, and 1C) and one at the south end (Gates 22A, 22B and 22C) of the Riley Terminal are available for commuter passenger service.

Ticket counters for American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and WestJet are located in Terminal A. Ticket counters for Alaska Airlines and United Airlines are located in Terminal B, and ticket counters for Frontier and Southwest Airlines are located in Terminal C.

The Departure (upper) Level offers a number of food and shopping choices. Food, snack, and news and gift items are available near the ticket counter area, open to all visitors to JWA. Once through security - only with a valid boarding pass - you will find food and shopping choices in the departure lounge - in the central food court area and along the Riley Terminal concourse.

The American Airlines Admirals Club (opposite Gate 8) and the United Club (opposite Gate 9) are located on the mezzanine level of the Riley Terminal (club lounges).

Only a few steps away from the gates, the Arrival (lower) Level can be reached via escalator, elevator or stairs. Two baggage carousels in Terminal A, two baggage carousels in Terminal B and three baggage carousels in Terminal C make it easy to locate your bags. And, baggage offices for each airline are nearby should you have any questions. If you are unfamiliar with the Airport or the area, Airport staff provide information about Airport facilities, ground transportation and visitor services at the Airport Information Booths. From there, just step outside and cross the street to the Ground Transportation Center to catch a cab or a shuttle. Or, walk up to the on-site rental car counters and rent a car. With prior reservation, transportation network companies (rideshare services), holding an Airport permit, are also allowed to pick up curbside. Before you leave don't forget to take a quick picture with the "Duke," a nine-foot bronze statue of John Wayne. The baggage claim area is the best location to pick up friends and family.

The Riley Terminal has much to offer for art aficionados. Rotating art exhibits are usually shown along both concourses, in the baggage claim area and near the security checkpoints.
